Congratulations to Dead Label on winning the 2009 Crypt Trials. They will now play on the Friday night of Cork Winterfest 2009. Kildare's Red Enemy have also been added, completing this years lineup. The running order is now available on our info page.

Hail Of Bullets have been confirmed to headline Cork Winterfest 2009!

The list of bands also confirmed to play at this years fest includes Grand Magus, Skyforger, Mael Mordha, Waylander, Old Season, Geasa, Overoth, Sorrowfall, Two Tales Of Woe, Five Will Die, Saviours Of Sin, Orpheus, Decayor, This Weary Hour and Ravenage.

Weekend tickets go on sale from corkwinterfest.com on September 28th, priced at €55 plus bkg fee, and will be available from all usual outlets from October 1st.

Belfast's Overoth and Cork's Five Will Die have been added to this years lineup.

Also, for anyone travelling to this year's fest, Kinlay House Hostel will be offering a 10% discount to Winterfest patrons who book by phone for December 18th or 19th.

The final two bands will be announced in the coming days.

Swedish riff-lords Grand Magus make their first appearance in Cork at this years festival! Also confirmed are Dublin black n' rollers Geasa and Cork doom metallers, This Weary Hour.

We are happy to announce our partnership with The Crypt Trials, Ireland's only regional, all metal, battle of the bands. The winner of this year's competition will have the opportunity to open the Friday night of the this years festival. Applications are still being accepted at www.crypttrials.info.

The lineup for this years festival is now completely full and we plan to announce the remaining 14 bands over the coming weeks.
